Not only the first reservations for Amsterdam da Gustare  on December 1st are flowing in, we also just finished the first official event of the project. Yesterday we presented the products we are going to serve aat the event to a group of importers and press. The whole organizing team was together and we even had two special guests flying in from Italy.

Gabriele Giovannini, as the chairman of the Consorzio produttori Grance Senesi came to tell us about this new Tuscan wine-denomination and rpesent its wines.

Francesco Travaglini is the brain behind Molisextra, an association of olive-oil producers in Molise and behind a large international event for their colleagues all over the world.

the real discovery of the day, though was Pierluigi Santoro, a young and brilliant reseracher ith the University of Wageningen. Not only he is absolutely enthusiastic about our project, we just fiound out he is a certified taster of olive-oil. We immediately put him in the program of 1 December with a technical tasting of olive-oil.

Last but not least, Costanza Boschetti, a friend who just moved from Tuscany to Hoofddorp. presented all sort of delicious sweets and pastries from Siena.

Chef Antone;la Barbella served us the most delicious lunch to accompany the olive-oils of Francesco.

It was wonderful to get together and have the chance not oly to try all these delicacies, but also to experience what would happen, on a much large scale, on December 1st. And becaus that day we will all be working hard to make it an unforgettable day, we are just happy we got our little party as the kick off.
