Da Gustare is a project by and for small Italian producers of wine and specialties for their direct promotion.
This is realised through itinerant events, wine tastings, wine and cooking classes, conferences and much more, for professionals and individuals.
The activities in The Netherlands are organized and coordinated by the office of linguistic consulting and communication Madrelingua – Moedertaal of AIS sommelier Barbara Summa.
Barbara Summa has been organising language services and events since 1998.
Her interest in Italian food and wine has made her a specialist in this sector: Barbara has been working for years for Italian food producers, she is an AIS sommelier and for the Dutch periodical Italie Magazine she writes the “In Cucina” column.
For years Barbara dream has been to organise an event by which to valorise the excellence of Italian foods and wines, and culture in the Netherlands.
The result is Da Gustare, a series of events, tasting sessions and workshops for the general public and professionals from the Food&Wine sector.
The 2016 edition has been made possible thanks to the help of Marina Vizzinisi of Nerodavola , her friend and partner of many culinary and media adventures in the past, new entry Luigi Pucciano of Terre Lente and her brother Italo Summa with Italo Express
